Bangaluru : Rashmi's views

Bangaluru
  • Bangalore does not have its own face.
  • You can not call bangalore as 'South India'.
  • The number of kannad people is far less than number of people with other language.
  • Areas are divided just for the sake of division. If a person in electronic city wants to have food, he needs to travel opposite end of the city which is 2 hours away.
  • Transport is very costly.
  • Rikshaw meter is the show piece.
  • Nobody has clue where do the METRO workers go for toilet.
  • On Magestic bus stop, time taken to travel 4 km, is equal to time taken to come out of the bus stand.
  • ISKON Bangalore is not a temple; its a MALL. You can get books, CDs, Prasadam, Jwelery, Fancy items and food...Only thing you dont get is 'true bhakta'.
  • Something on language : If tamil is Jalebi, then Kannada is 'Imrati'.
  • The only place people hangout is MALL> If malls were not there, there is big problem for young crowd, where to go for dating. Malls have made this part very easy. They have AC, security, hot girls, expensive brands and food. It is a badluck for boys, though. They have to empty their pockets the moment they step out of the house.
  • Bangalore may have very good architects doing nice work, but they dont have a single civil engineer to do a footpath.
