Developed and developing countries !!!

How do you dare to call my country developing and yours already developed ? Let me see the parameters you apply for the definition of the term Development ???

Pant-shirt, concrete roads, people drinking coke instead water, Country with high GDP, country investing more in renewable energy, people with no relatives except ‘(changing) partners’, less people sleeping on road and more people eating bread as main course, country using language with less vocabulary and confusing terms and spellings, people who can not tell history more than 7 generations, country having maximum number of airports and less number of people talking during a travel, country with people controlling their cough in a meeting because of country’s ‘antiquates’ , or something else ???

Enough is enogh…You all are wrong if you think anything mentioned above is a sign of development !

Now, I propose a definition of development, and then you have to tell me is this more sensible, more logical and in many sense, more correct definition of a development. Then, we will talk about developed and developing countries.

Imagine a piece of land where people follow a tradition whose basics is nothing else than a LOGIC applied to the specific geographic location, climate, vegetation and surroundings.

A piece of land where people consume what grows in that piece of land naturally  without artificial efforts. They do not waste energy-time-currency in importing anything only because they personally aspire to consume it. A piece of land where people build their own habitat with help of material available around them with the help of local people. Not because there is affordability of IMPORTING material is an issue, but because it is logical to use anything which you can access without help of any man made machinery. A piece of land where people wear cloths suitable to their climate. (As simple as that). If the climate they live in is hot enough, they use cotton. (Naturally cotton grows in hot and dry climate), If their climate is cold enough, they wear woollen cloths. (Surrounding animals living in ONLY cold region possibly can have wool on their body…naturally).

The day to day activities which people do because their parents asked them to do so comes from minimum 2000 generations consistently and derived and modified in these many years ONLY because of change in surround circumstances and not because their neighbour asked them to do so.

For example, a person removes his footware before entering any habitable space because he has been told to do so by his 2000 ancestors. They have derived this habit not as a tradition but as a necessity considering the climate. The climate where these generations have been lived is full of natural dust due to flowing wind and hot air channel, open fields, soils and adjoining is a farm where they produce their food. If somebody walks through this surrounding and enters in any habitable space, he is ought to make the space dirty unintentionally. The best way is to just simply remove the footware which protected you in outer surrounding and enter with clean feet in hygienically clean habitable space instead of allowing him to put his SHOES ON and then employing a person who continuously swipes the floor.

A piece of land where people can tell stories of 150 year old king, 2000 year old settlement and 5000 year old antiquates born and brought up in the same piece of land. A piece of land where people are not fools to smile at each other, people are not mentally ill to take care of their neighbour’s kid, the piece of land where people are not coward to live with only 1 partner whole life, A piece of land where people are not beggars to ask for a tea spoon of curd to a neighbour, A piece of land where people are not emotionally freaked out to wake up his next door if they are feeling little upset. A piece of land where people are not indiscipline to tolerate noise when someone walks on their street singing ancient folk song and ask for a bowl of rice.

They are humans ! culturally, psychologically, metally, emotionally, highly developed Humans ! They are called Indians ! They are certainly not FREE, but they are casual in behaviour. They have not lost the charm of life behind the fiscal words of well mannered. Infact, it was and it is the most mannered county in the whole world for last 5000 years. Please argue with me on this topic only when you will read Mahabharat and Ramayan in detail. Because I can give you logical (not mythological) evidences of how developed, well mannered, cultured and educated this piece of land was !

The point is not that India is great and all other countries are not great. They may be are equally great. But, the point is… the definition of development is misguiding and is following extremely temporary trends of fictitious terms which came from nowhere. We need not convert Mumbai into Singapore or Delhi into Shanghai, instead we need to change logic applied behind converting any city into any dream city. We are not developing country at all, and for instance, America is not developed country at all…Infact, India is highly developed country and America is NON-Developing, stagnant country. It depends on wheather you apply correct definition of development or not !
