देश विदेशातून ५००० मैल चार्टर विमानातून येऊन, चामड्याचे जाकीट घातलेल्या, महागड्या विड्या ओढणाऱ्या, पर्यावरण वादी शास्त्रज्ञांची सभा भरली होती, म्हणाले, "पृथ्वीला, जीव सृष्टीला वाचवायचंय!" पृथ्वी म्हणाली माणसाला, "तू थांब रे, आम्हीं सगळे प्राणी, झाडं, वेली, कीड, कीटक, बुरशी, सूक्ष्मजीव यांना सोबत घेऊन गेली चार कोटी वर्ष करत असलेलं काम पूर्ण करायचंय !" तुझं तर अजून बारस पण करायचंय !

लगाम

नैतिकतेच्या, लोकापवादाच्या, धर्माच्या, कोणत्याच नियमात न बसणाऱ्या पण निसर्गाला मान्य असलेल्या, अनर्थ आणि नवीन सृजन यापैकी कुठेही झुकण्याची क्षमता असलेल्या एका बेलगाम विचाराच्या आहारी गेलेल्या, मला, देवाच्या कृपेने अगदी वेळेत लगाम घातला गेला... मेल्यावर श्रेष्ठ भक्त्याचा पुरस्कार घ्यायला स्वर्गात देवापुढे उभा राहिलो, म्हणालो, "सद्सद्विवेकाचा विचार योग्य वेळी देऊन मागे खेचलस, म्हणून वाचलो !" एक सणसणीत कानफटात देऊन देव म्हणाला, " स्वतःला मागे खेचणारा तूच होतास मूर्खा, मी तर खूप आशेनी तुला ढकलल होतं"

मैफल

पोचलो तेव्हा मारवा सुरू झाला होता 

निघालो तेव्हा ही बिहाग सुरूच होता 

कितीही आधी गेलो तरी तानपुरा लागलेलाच असतो 

कितीही नंतर निघालो तरी ठुमरी चालूच असते 

मी मैफिलीतून लवकर निघतो तेव्हा काय गमावतो ? 

आणि रेंगाळत थांबतो तेव्हा काय कमावतो ? 

तरीही ...प्रत्येक ... जन्माच्या... मैफिलीत... मी... जाणारच ! 

अनादी अनंत काळापासून सुरू असलेल्या ह्या विश्वाच्या मैफिलीचा 

जमेल तितका, पचेल तितका आस्वाद घ्यायला !

खाली पडा हु

आप के दिल के मेहलो मे, चुटकुले मे, यादो मे, भरा पडा हू

मेरे भीतर की दीवारो मे, होशो हावाज मे, खाली पडा हु

दुनिया की हर ताकत को, आंधी को, मुश्किल को, भारी पडा हू

मेरे मन में उठी सासोंकी हलकी लेहेरो से, उम्मिदो से, कम पडा हू

सामने दिखी हर एक चुनौती का सामना करने बेहीचक निकल पडा हू

I wish

Whatever you say, the thought is selfish !

Opinion of an Opinion !

I had written a negative article about ‘The Opinion’ a decade ago. unfortunately, it stands valid even today. I am very very inert person about most of the things around me & around the globe. I am true believer that ‘To be neutral , leftist & Rightist is a state of mind at that particular time & place’. And it is useful, harmless, necessary to express the opinions only & only if they are increasing the positivity & already existing acceptance. The thought process of holding the ground for your opinion in adverse conditions or people is a complete myth according to me.

Any expression which provokes an argument, negative thoughts or denial are extreme waste of vocabulary. It least when you are not professionally paid for that expression. 

I am not saying this controversial statement because I am afraid of the quarrel. But most of the time, our assumed opinions change with time & experience, then why to hold on to a temporary state as truth. It is like proving that the clouds are of shape of an African continent. Yes, one of the cloud in the sky at specific time & from specific point may look exactly like Africa. But it is perception of an observer in x,y,x & time coordinates. Nowhere else & never again it is the truth !

Our society is been trained to be opinionistic throughout generations pre & post independence. Yes, it was necessary at that time to say what you feel openly, because the one who ruled & the one who got ruled had different experience of life. That was needed to be changed. Not now. Not in my home. Not on the dining table. We are all same drinking same water, eating same food, contributing same to the life around. The opinions formed from the base of past of each one are merely our own Africa shaped clouds ! Even the next chair would see the cloud like a Samosa instead of Africa. 

We have been trained in the debate competitions in schools that winning an on-table debate means ultimate smartness ! Think wisely, the debate is won only when we win the heart ! Not by words. There is a profound phrase in hindi ,”Tum mere, Baki sab Tumhara!” 

It means ,’If I have your heart, whatever you win becomes mine automatically’. Then why attempt to win by expressing correctly spelled, loud & dominating opinion. If you lost me as a whole, how did you win against my fractional words then?

I am sure you have already formed a denial’ opinion about this article but I accept that this article is foolish because ………I would definitely prefer to be ....

‘Winning the heart by losing this debate !’ 

Yes, Runaway from your dreams

 Human mind is full of faults and it's program code has many bugs.. yet to go through test run by infees.. the shoelace of my badminton kit is a better thinker than this glamorousy portrayed human mind. 

The lace knows it's job, it does and keeps quiet !

No side business, no hidden agendas, no emotional atyachar, no "aspiration" basically no bullshit. 

We like our dreams only because they are unfulfilled. The moment we approach our dream, we get scared and just change the dream. So, we have something to crib upon. We are not chasing our dreams... Infact our dreams are chasing us and we are running away from them .. thanks to that sloppy programmer who wrote the code for it !

I like Katrina Kaif a lot.. like really really I would have proposed her if at all I have met her in teenage. One probable reason for this confidence is that she will definately refuse it.. whatever I propose . A relationship, a coffee, an autograph.. whatever. Confirm Refusal was my strength to dream of her.

I am equally sure in same era, if she would have proposed me, I would have fainted by happyness but would have said NO.. please don't bring my surname inbetween us.. the reason would have been 'sudden realisation of practicality' ! 

The dream doesn't walk on the path. It just shows the destination. We like it, but as we walk on path, hardly we want that destination for such a hard road... The reality and practicality to live every moment on the hard road is so tiresome, manipulative that we modify our dreams midroad. A slight deviation is sure. And we call it "mature decision" .. ofcourse, we have evolved between young age and bald hair round belly age, so convincing the world and ourself that changing the goalpost doesn't matter is what we do in blink of an eye... 

Afterall, this modern city world trains us for this only task precisely. No hypothetical stories, I have just came at the crossroad which I had envisioned and dreamt for past decade.. and I have just now refused the path which goes straight uphill to my dreams because it was too slippery and taken the other one . Still a beautiful one, and dream for someone else.. but wasn't my first choice indeed.

Human mind and brain make a deal with each other, create an allies as our "protectors" and roll, twist, slide our life the way they feel convenient. Thanks guys.. we are Hindus, we don't give a damn for the body yaar. We believe in that person within who is a transformer by theory.. he becomes human, cockroach, mosquito, dinosaurs and stays right here ! 

He is getting "mature" here for past 4crore years. And my body tries to cope up with this supernova maturity in 20 years ! No brainer that we loose.

Enough of discouragement you dreamers, I know you will rise from this ash, and chase it like a mad cheetah.. and you must ! Mind you, Carve your dream in a single line on a rock and have a courage to visit the rock after 25 years and don't say "oh my god, somebody must have thrown it in the river.. I just can't find it" !!!

The most (ir)relevant story !

 Around 8000 years ago, there was a wealthy n strong kingdom called Kishkindha.. exactly where current Hampi ruins lie. Hanuman was son of the senapati of the whole kingdom. Very strong, naughty and wealthy.

He and his friends had a habit to lift large boulders and run with them just for fun or exercise. Sometimes, saints and sages used to be doing meditation on those large rocks or boulders. Unintentionally, they used to get troubled by these activities.

One day, Maharshi Durwas was in deep sadhana when Hanuman accidently lifted the rock he was sitting on. Being known for anger, as expected he fell a spell on Young Hanuman that he will forget his egoistic powers unless and until external forces reminds him about those.

For large part of his accompaniment with Ram, Hanuman have not used his physical strengths because of this, until they all reached Rameshwaram and Jambuwant reminded him about it. 

Rest is the history we all know.

Cut to today, I am in Hampi. Writing this story sitting on one of the very boulders he might have lifted or stepped on. I did not heard this story here, I knew it from my childhood. But I never realised its relevance and application to today untill now !

Friends, we are all powerful in more ways than we can imagine. But... We need PT teacher to tell us "You are brave", we need our friends to tell us "you are beautiful", we need our brothers to tell us that "yes, you can do it". We need someone special to tell us that "you have it in you"

We are all Hanuman affected by Maharshi Durwasa someday. The time to come out of that spell is NOW.... We won't get Jambuwant by our side always. We don't need him. 

May be ... you are my external force, may be... I am yours... or may be... That force is within you.... Go for it !

The Sunset !

In India, kids are an entity to be looked at either as ‘Flowers of gods gardens’ OR ‘free child labour’ ! It is our moral responsibility to free them from both these sufferings & enlighten them to be even more monstrous & wild. In some place on earth, this is called as “Sanskar Varg” !

Everyone knows that the kids absolutely like to sit in one place, they don’t spoil food while eating, they listen instructions as soon as we politely request them, they sleep at 9pm & wake on their own at 8am, they brush their teeth daily, they take bath in 2 minutes & so on …. We all were exactly like this when we were kids.

I neither want to praise the behaviour nor want to change the situation. I want us to accept this for lifetime of the universe !

Apart from the jokes ….

Imagine your kid in traffic police booth on Alka chowk / Lakdi bridge on a busy Monday at 6pm. There are vehicles coming towards you from everywhere whether you want them or not. They are assigned with a job to note down following things. You can learn whole SSC book set within an hour.

1. How many cars in an hour(maths)
2. How many Audi cars in an hour (GK)
3. How many red Audi cars (Arts)
4. How many red Audi cars going towards Deccan (Geography)
5. How many red Audi cars going to Deccan with family in it (Sociology)
6. How many red Audi cars going to Deccan with family with Marathi nameplate (Language)

And the dedicated poor soul will do the exercise obediently till 7pm. All perfect... If your kid will learn to do it fast & correct, he will get best education, best job, best home, best wife, best career………… But…………..

What about the beautiful sunset which also was visible from the same bridge, same spot same time. 

The point is not to find correct answers of questions asked, the point is we dont forget to look at the colours in the sky while we find answers… even if no one is going to give grades or marks for that !

Aai Baba - Europe trip

वीणा वर्ल्ड बरोबर यूरोप ट्रिप चे बुकिंग झाले व सुरू झाली पॅकिंग ची गडबड , थंड हवेचे साठी कसले कसले स्वेटरर्स jerkin वगैरे , नवीन कपडे , बॅग्स ,अशी जमवाजमव झाली व निघालो मुंबई ते पॅरिस विमानाने , मध्ये झुरिच ला विमान बदलायचे होते , मध्ये फक्त दिड तास ,बापरे , कसे होणार एवढया लवकर immigragion वगैरे असे विचार येत होते व जात होते तेवढ्यात विमान सुटले सुद्धा , आता सगळी काळजी वीणा वर्ल्ड च्या टूर लीडर म्हणजे अतुल वर सोडून रिलॅक्स झालो.

आमचा विमान प्रवास उत्तम झाला , खाऊ व नाष्टा विमानात चांगला दिला , चॉकोलेट ही देत होते , चहा कॉफी होती , वेळेच्या फरकामुळे पहिला दिवस धावपळीत असतोच , tower बाहेरून व siene नदीत cruise सफर एवढे काल पाहिले , आज पॅरिस ची सिटी टूर दिवसभर आहे। व संध्याकाळी शॉपिंग. 

बाहेर थंडी आहे 4 डिग्री , पण वारा जास्त आहे ,हॉटेल व बस मध्ये temp maintain असल्याने  अजिबात थंडी नाही.

काल tower वर 2nd लेवल पर्यंत जाता आले होते, वरून सर्व गजबजलेल्या पॅरिस ला bye केले, नंतर पॅरिस ची सिटी टूर केली , संध्याकाळी 1 शो होता पण तो संपामुळे रद्द झाला , नशीब की पॅरिस मध्ये बाकी सर्व गोष्टी बुडल्या नाहीत , तेथे हल्ली संप चालू आहेत ना 

आज सकाळी ब्रुसेल्स , mhanje बेल्जियम कडे निघालो ,तेथे दुपारी automium पाहिले यानंतर ब्रुसेल्स मध्ये सेन्टर square  1, 2 पुतळे मोठें मोठे राजवाडे सदृश इमारती, churches , शॉपिंग ची ठिकाणे इत्यादी पाहून amster dam कडे निघालो

कालचा दिवस म्हणजे नाश्ता पॅरिस फ्रान्स मध्ये ,  जेवण बेल्जियम म्हणजे ब्रुसेल्स मध्ये व डिनर amsterdam म्हणजे netherlands मध्ये झाले 

आज 6 तारखेला सकाली 9 ला निघून Kokenhalf ला ट्युलिप गार्डन पहायची होती , आज हवा पावसाळी असल्याने थंड वारा खूप जास्त होता, पण मुख्य आकर्षण म्हणजे विविध रंगी ट्युलिप व इतर daffodils वगैरे पाहून डोळ्याचे पारणे फिटले , 

1857 सालची windmill तिथे आहे व त्यावरून भोवती चे फुलांच्या बागा अप्रतिम दिसतात,

आता दुपारी मॅक d मध्ये जेवण झाल्यावर कॅनॉल बोट ride ला निघालो

बोट छत वाली होती व बसायला उत्तम जागा होती , जात असताना आपण काय पाहत आहे ती commentry earphone ने ऐकायची ,  amstrrdam चा इतिहास व इमारतींचे महत्व व त्यांचा पण इतिहास ऐकत ऐकत ही सफर पूर्ण झाली , आज दिवसभर पाऊस आहे व ढगाळ वातावरण आहे त्यामुळे थंडी जास्त भासत आहे , आता जर्मनी मधील cologne या ठिकाणी मुक्काम आहे

6 april चा cologne येथील मुक्काम वैशिष्ट्य पूर्ण होता , एक बाजूला rhyne नदीचे पात्र , त्यातून होणारी माल वाहतूक ची मोठी जहाजे , व काठावर अप्रतिम हॉटेल  असं होते , तन्मय तिकडे जवळ राहतो व त्याला आधी कळावल्यामुळे त्याने आमची भेट त्याच हॉटेल मध्ये बुकिंग करून ठरवली, त्यामुळे दुधात साखर , योग आला , त्याच्या गाडीतून छोटी rid e व गप्पा झाल्या, फार आनंद झाला , तेथून सकाळी निघालो ते स्वित्झर्लंड गाठण्यासाठी च

दुपारी 4 च्या सुमारास cuckoo क्लॉक फॅक्टरी व विक्री होती,  4 वाजता बरोब्बर त्या घड्याळातून dancing dolls च्या जोड्या बाहेर येऊन जातात , फार मस्त show होता , हा दर तासाला असतो अप्रतिम घड्याळे व तत्सम वस्तू होत्या

त्यानंतर rhyne वॉटर fall व बोटींग साठी निघालो

हे बोटींग फारच exciting होते , धबधब्याच्या अगदी जवळ जाऊन थोडे पाणी उडNयाचा आनंद घेता येतो, आल्यावर अशक्य असा वडापाव व चहा मिळाला जो युरोपात दुर्मिळच आहे ,

आजचे 8 एप्रिल चे हॉटेल उत्तमच आहे , ब्रेकफास्ट नेहमी प्रमाणे ब्रेड व इतर ,यानंतर निघालो ते उत्कंठा वाढवणारे ठिकाण म्हणजे mount titlis, snow point, 

तेथे 2 प्रकारच्या गोंडोला तुन प्रवास आहे , हळू हळू वर बर्फात गेलो म्हणजे glaciers वरच हॉटेल पण तिथेच व glacier cave ,आणि स्काय walk पण बर्फातून च, खु,,प मस्त धमाल आली

Technology व इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर चा उत्तम प्रकारे वापर गेले कित्येक वर्षे चालू आहे , त्यांची कमाल आहे

दुपारनंतर lucern lake मध्ये बोट ride व shopping झाले

आज 9 एप्रिल सकाळी 9 वाजता स्विस हॉटेल ला बाय केले व vaduj म्हणजे linchestine या छोटया देशात जाण्यासाठी निघालो, 36000 वस्ती आहे केवळ , rhine च्या काठावरची वस्ती केवळ बघण्यासारखी लाजवाब होती  , डोंगरावर 1 castle ,तिथे अजूनही राजघराणी राहतात , व गावातील सर्व wineyards मधील wine तेच फस्त करतात,  

ट्राम ride होती गावातून , व्यवस्था सुरेख आहे सर्व माहिती ऐकत ऐकत फेरफटका झाला व नंतर जेवण

आता ऑस्ट्रिया तील insbruke या ठिकाणी जाण्यास निघालो. हा प्रवास वैशिष्ट्य पूर्ण आहे तो वाटेतील मोठ्या मोठ्या tunnel साठी , 10 km 13 km 6 km असे बोगदे सतत आहेत व बाहेर पडले की बर्फाच्छादित शिखर व खाली नितांत सुंदर अशी गावे दिसतात

इथे इंन्स रिव्हर आहे, क्रिस्टल museum, Sworovasky Museum खूपच आवडले.

चमचमत लखलखीत हिरे की खडे काय ते वैभव !!

ऑस्ट्रिया खरच सुंदर वाटला, 10 april, आज निघालो ट्रिप मधील शेवटच्या देशात , इटली ला, इंन्सब्रूके वरून padova इटली मधील साधारण पणे 600 km चा प्रवास होता, सुंदर प्रदेश आणि इटालियन आल्प्स.

मध्ये आलो ऑस्ट्रेलियन आल्प्स मधून सर्व प्रवास  डोंगरातून पण वाटलेच नाही इतका रम्य . युरोपा ब्रिज हा 52 km चा बनवलाय, अनेक बोगदे काढून डोंगर पूर्ण न फोडता केलाय कॅन्टीलिव्हर करून खालून pillar टाकून केलाय . नंतर padova हुन व्हेनिस ला vaporator water बस ने आलो तेयहील ऐतिहासिक महत्त्व असलेल्या वास्तू पाहून गोंडोला ride करून icecream मटकवले व bologna येथे मुक्कामाला आलो.

11 एप्रिल ला पिसा येथे पिसाचा मनोरा पाहण्यासाठी निघालो. पिसाचा मनोरा 600 इसवीसनाच्या आसपास बांधला गेलाय तो 1 बेल tower आहे ,कॅथेड्रल च्या समोर , तेही खरे तर भव्यदिव्य आहे व unesco ची हेरिटेज site आहे , फार छान वाटले हे ठिकाण , तेथे pizza ,pasta व पिठले भात सुद्धा असे मजेशीर जेवण घेऊन rome ला जाण्यासाठी निघालो

11 april ला दुपारी रोम येथे जाण्यासाठी निघालो , वाटेत एक मॉल होता तिथे शॉपिंग साठी थांबलो, विविध प्रकारच्या कार्स , चॉकलेट स biscuits अशा अनेक गोष्टी होत्या , आवडेल त्यांनी मनसोक्तपणे खरेदी केली व पुढे निघालो, रोम येथे संध्याकाळी पोचणार होतो व रात्रीची walking टूर होती 

चालत चालत तिथल्या प्रसिद्ध वस्तू ज्या खूपच ऐतिहासिक महत्त्व असलेल्या आहेत त्या पहिल्या , त्याम्ह्णणजे trivian fountain,  collossium, व राजवाडा पहिला , सोबत असलेल्या guide मावशीची कमाल वाटली, वय 77 व तुरु तुरु चालत त्या ड्युटी म्हणजे नोकरी करत होत्या , त्यांच्याकडे पाहून आपण कंटाळलेले पण आम्ही घालवले व रोम सिटी टूर चा आनंद घेतला 

आशा तर्हेने शेवटच्या दिवशी रात्री 12 ला परत हॉटेल वर आलो अवरावरी करून 6 च्या परतीच्या प्रवाससाठी  रवाना झालो,

अशा यूरोप टूर चे वैशिष्ट्य जाणवले ते  म्हणजे रस्ते, गाड्या व ट्रॅफिक यांची उत्तम व्यवस्था, सिग्नल स्वतः हुन सगळीकडे पाळतात , व कडक असे driving चे नियम यामुळे रोड जर्नी उत्तमच होते ,असो याबरोबर च सर्वांचा निरोप घेऊन आपल्या देशात परतलोय.

Looking inside

Outside the window, the station disappeared !

The village ended, and farms appeared !

The train now was fast !

More than few seconds, nothing outside would last !

Tunnel and bridge looks beautiful in speed !

Looking elsewhere wasn't the need !

Suddenly someone tapped on the shoulder !

His hands were firm and colder !

He pointed at a small boy !

He was playing with a toy !

I kept looking and forgot about the bridge !

Though it was beautiful, far was the ridge !

The farm was greener but moving away from me !

The toy was simple but was coming along with me !

At the destination, i remembered beautiful terrain I saw in a glance !

And The Boy with whom my mind still dance !
